XCOM Game 1 Mission 2

With a successful mission under our belt a new team is put together to deal with a downed spacecraft. Frank, Kyle and Derm return with a new close combat soldier: Sq. Dan Came. The mission is to the Nigerian interior

Immediately after the team lands the aliens start to make their move. And Frank and Derm take their shots.

And unfortunately miss.

With these failed shots, Dan decides to move into close range, even though he is under heavy fire.

He moves in, lines up the shot and then....

Takes down the mindmelding alien causing mental feedback that kills the other alien!

But before the team has a chance to rejoice, a new alien shows up on the scene!

Derm sees the alien an aims but misses.

Dan gets into position to take out the new alien with a shotgun blast.

Dan connects but the alien is still standing! And with him so close there is no way he can survive the new blast gun that the alien is carrying! Frank lines up a shot.

And down goes the alien!

But more aliens come out of the woodwork. They are everywhere!

Dan runs to gets into position and almost gets hit!

Once in position behind the mindmelding alien, Dan sets up the perfect shot.

And it is good. Killing two birds with one stone.

Time to go home! Well done team, Operation Crimson Pipe is a success!
